I think we too often make choices based on the safety of cynicism, and what we’re lead to is a life not fully lived. Cynicism is fear, and it’s worse than fear – it’s active disengagement. Ken Burns

If you want to run with a horse, or a horse to run with you,  you have to leave your mind, the font of your cynicism behind. If you don’t lead with your heart, you’ll probably trip up. It just won’t work. There is no room in running with a horse for a cynical moment, a “smart” moment.

Same here. If you want to be chased, act like you’ve got something to hide – or just carry something.  Curiosity is the staple of the animal kingdom. Its neither here nor there, it just is. Judging or inferring behaviour based on what’s in your mind – well, it’s silly. Besides it doesn’t add up to much most of the time.

Same here!

In the moment, every moment, the only thing we can control is the expression of our feelings. How we feel is more important than anything else. I go with my cat as much as I can. She’s a leader and a force of nature. She’s a force.
